AVAG has a lecture stream (eight hours!) with a great guest speaker, Dr Rikke Shultz. Dr Shultz graduated in veterinary medicine from University of Copenhagen in 1992 and has been successful in integrating holistic and regular veterinary practice almost from the start of her career, and currently has her own mainly equine holistic practice.
Dr Shultz will be speaking at the AVA conference about fascia and myofascial kinetic lines in dogs and horses. AVAG's own Dr Kim Lim will also present a lecture about acupuncture and rehabilitation of Acute Polyradiculoneuritis. There will also be a workshop about myofascial kinetic lines followed by a guided 1 ½ hour tour through the Botanic Gardens to learn about the native plant use of the Nyoongar Indigenous people and early settlers, with a focus on medicinal plants. I hope to see you all at the conference and would love to see every one attend the practical workshop as well.
The AVAG dinner will be held on Wednesday the 8th of May, and I would love to get to know you all a little better and meet you face to face.
