Vale Ulrike Wurth

Wurth, Ulrike

17.4.1950-16.11.2018

Ulrike died peacefully at home as she wished. Deeply loved and loving wife of Graham Hobbs.

Special friend of many in Geelong, Australia and overseas.

An unassuming leader, teacher, mentor in the animal, human and veterinary acupuncture worlds.

Ulrike's list of professional positions within the veterinary acupuncture world does not do justice to the huge dedication and hours she has put in to help position veterinary acupuncture on a sound and respectable footing that it currently enjoys.

Professional positions held:  President – Australian Veterinary Acupuncture Group 1993-2003, AVA Policy Council – AVAG Representative 2006-2012, IVAS Board of Directors, IVAS Education Committee, IVAS House of Delegates, Executive Director – ACVA Foundation Ltd

Awards:  1999 – AVA Meritorious Service Award

A beautiful soul has re-joined the cosmos.
