We are an established integrative practice servicing Sydney and outer areas as well as a growing local client base. We frequently work with other veterinary practices around Australia providing adjunctive support for their patients. Our name might be a little different - however our growing hospital combines the best of conventional medicine and surgery and natural medicine. And we need you!
We are looking for an experienced Full Time veterinarian, 38hrs per week with 2-3 Saturday shifts (9am-3pm) required each month. No Sundays or after hours!! You need to be outgoing and well presented, love your profession and have great people skills that clients will warm to.
Your main responsibilities for this role are to deliver high quality veterinary care to our local clientele & the management of our clinic’s surgical load.
We strive to deliver the highest standard of professional care to our patients and are looking for someone who holds the same passion, who works wells in a team, has a sense of humour & is open to integrative medicine. You don’t need to know anything about integrative medicine but be open to it. If you have Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture or an additional interest in Dermatology or Oncology this would be a real advantage.
We are located in the Inner West of Sydney (10mins from the CBD) and offer a friendly and calm working environment. You can walk down to the bay in 5 minutes or drive to the cafés and shops in Five Dock or Birkenhead Point.
You will have all the mod cons- a fully computerised practice with Digital Radiography, Ultrasound, In- House Pathology and Pharmacy and a great support team of wonderful nurses. Our pharmacy contains everything you would expect in a veterinary hospital and more, including a huge range of Chinese and Western herbs. We are an offsite training centre for Sydney University Veterinary School and have a commitment to developing future veterinarians. We have regular visits from veterinarians all around the world wanting to see how we do things. There is never a dull moment!
