AVAG AGM in July
Traditionally our AGM is held via teleconference in our non-conference years in May/June. This year we will be post-poning the AGM until July due to a number of committee members attending the IVAS Congress. A date will be confirmed soon.

Committee positions - AVAG Conference & IVAS Congress committees ***PLEASE READ***
2017 is going to be a massive year for AVAG with our bi-annual stream at the AVA Conference in Melbourne in early June, the the IVAS Congress in Cairns in July. We are forming a working committee for each event to help with organization, local support and ideas.
1. AVAG Conference
I would like 3-4 people to help us approach speakers; edit speaker presentations; organize topic, speaker and venue for the post conference workshop; source patients locally if required for the workshop; and assist with organization during the week. Ideally 1-2 people will be Melbourne locals.
2. IVAS Congress
While IVAS does the majority of organization we have been asked to form a committee that can assist with information (eg customs etc); help with workshops - venues and patients; help with tourist information and arrange social events; assist on site during the congress.
Aside from the exec I have two people who have agreed to help already but i would like another 3-4 people to help with this - ideally you will be planning to attend but thats not essential.
With both of these committees many hands make light work.
